to the official website of the Gwili Railway Preservation Society
(GRPS).
The Society actively supports the Gwili Railway Company to develop, run and maintain
steam railway services on a part of the former GWR Aberystwyth to Carmarthen
branch line.
Our base is at Bronwydd Arms Station just to the north of Carmarthen in beautiful
West Wales.
The Society raises money to support projects, provides facilities for the volunteers
who man the services and provides amenities for our visitors. Society volunteers
also ensure that trackwork, buildings, locomotives and rolling stock are maintained.
The Society publishes the Gwili Messenger twice a year to keep members up to
date with developments on the railway.The Society also publishes a monthly e-mail
newsletter.
